Getxo resume later this month the refurbishment of the Haunted House.
Getxo (Vizcaya), May 10 .- El Ayuntamiento de Getxo resume later this month the refurbishment of the Haunted House Algorta, which involves an investment of one million euros, after they were paralyzed when entering bankruptcy process the company which had been awarded the work.
The bankruptcy process was initiated after the suspension of payments to the various trades and subcontractors for the work of reform, sto power leveling, of the house, so that the City went to court to terminate its contractual relationship with the UTE (temporary union companies) for breach of contract awarding.
The Town Planning, Joseba Arregui, explained that the City Council has drafted a new project and that, following tender and award the work again, work will begin before the end of the month of May and completed, sto energy credits, by the end of the year, for that "as soon as possible to accommodate any of the municipal services."
The works have been awarded to a joint venture by the majority of subcontractors that were involved from the beginning in the works, which would facilitate the resumption of work.
